WINTER SHELTER -
THIS YEAR 2020-WINTER SHELTER IS ON HOLD DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS

When God has a plan and we as servants are nudged into action; great things will happen! Our Winter Shelter Program has been wonderfully blessed by our loving God.
Anyone needing a warm place to sleep during December, January, and February were welcomed seven nights per week to stay with participating area churches. These guests were asked to show up at the Plateau Outreach office in Enumclaw by 6:30pm and like clockwork; God's people handled the rest. CPC sheltered on Wednesdays and from picking the guests up in Enumclaw to getting them back to the POM office the following morning the combined shift responsibilities took a minimum of 13 volunteers. Together these people of God provided not only a safe and warm place to sleep, plenty of good food, but they wrapped each guest in our Father's Love. We do look forward to participating in this program again next year. If you were not involved with our Winter Shelter here at CPC this year we strongly urge you to consider next year. |
